FY25 Legislative Salary Increase

June 10, 2024 Pay Increase

The Virginia General Assembly recently authorized a salary increase effective July 1, 2024. For more information about the salary increase and eligibility requirements, refer to the DHRM FY25 Authorizations and Compensation Activities memo.

Agencies must take action in the Cardinal Legislative Salary Increase tool by the following dates:

Agencies Opting Out of the Tool

  • Opt out by Monday, June 3, 8:00 p.m.

Agencies Using the Tool

  • Review & confirm salary increases by Tuesday, June 4, 7:59 p.m.
  • Verify by Thursday, June 6, 12:00 p.m.

Refresh Cycle Date Time
First Refresh Tuesday, 5/28/2024 8:00 p.m. - 11:59 p.m.
Second Refresh Thursday, 5/30/2024 8:00 p.m. - 11:59 p.m.
Third Refresh Monday, 6/3/2024 8:00 p.m. - 11:59 p.m.
Final Refresh Tuesday, 6/4/2024 8:00 p.m. - 11:59 p.m.
Important! Complete all HR transactions prior to Tuesday, June 4, 8:00 p.m.

Changes keyed after Tuesday, June 4, will not remove or add system blocks. Salary changes entered after this date will cause increases to fail during load!
