ESS392: Time & Attendance Employee Self-Service
Description: This course provides an overview of the Time & Attendance functional area for employees utilizing Employee Self-Service (ESS). Specifically, this course provides employees detailed instruction pertaining to the layout of the Cardinal Timesheet, how to enter time, and how to submit their Timesheets for approval. The processes for how to manage Time Exceptions and enter Timesheet adjustments are also covered in this course.
This course contains information that is applicable for Hourly (Wage) and Salaried employees that work in Agencies that both use and do not use Cardinal Absence Management. During the course, you will be asked to identify whether you are an Hourly or Salaried employee, whether your Agency uses Cardinal Absence Management or not, and whether you are a Positive or Exception Time Reporter. If you are unsure about any of these, it is recommended to check with your Agency before continuing in this course.
